Do I need to recalibrate the Spark-Vis wavelength calibration?

No, you should not ever need to recalibrate the Spark-Vis wavelength calibration. Because the Spark is built as a monolithic sensor, with no optics to align, once calibrated the Spark will stay calibrated unless the sensor is put under extremes of temperature or force. If this is the case you’re more likely to break something else before you ruin the wavecal – these spectral sensors are tiny but very tough!

N.B. Please remember that if you’re using the Spark-OEM-Vis or Spart-Det-Vis product that there is no on-board memory to store your wavelength calibrations. These need to be stored in the host electronics.
