What emission lines can be seen with Ocean Optics wavelength calibration light sources?

We offer gas-discharge emission sources for spectrometer wavelength calibration that cover wavelengths ranging from ~250 to 2500 nm. Refer to the table below to determine which sources are optimum for your required wavelength range. By using more emission lines, correcting for baseline drift and related phenomena inherent to all spectrometers is more easily and reliably achieved.

  • AR-1: Argon
  • HG-1: Mercury-argon
  • KR-1: Krypton
  • NE-1: Neon
  • XE-1: Xenon
