What is the response of the cosine corrector?

Lambert's Cosine LawThe cosine corrector has 180° FOV with response close to Lambert’s cosine law, which states that the irradiance or illuminance measured will vary with respect to the cosine of the angle between the optical axis of the source and the normal to the detector.  Radiance or luminance is constant in all directions.
