The HPX-2000 is ideal for reflectance or florescence spectroscopy applications where often a strong source is required. The light has a 35 W xenon source and features an integrated filter holder to condition the light before it enters the fiber optic.

The HPX-2000-HP-DUV light source is much more intense, especially in the UV region. Driven by a 75 W source, the HPX-2000-HP-DUV provides output intensity that is almost 4x higher across the entire range compared to the output of the HPX-2000.

Both models have an integrated shutter that can be controlled by a a TTL signal or a switch on the front panel, allowing you to limit the exposure of the sample to this high intensity source.
